Talk description:
Vega and Vega-Lite are declarative formats for creating, saving, and sharing visualization designs. Visualizations are described in JSON, and generate interactive views using either HTML5 Canvas or SVG. We’ll explore these tools and what it’s like to develop visualizations using them. At the end we’ll take a quick peak at D3, the powerful library Vega is built on.
